Day 01: Arrival Srinagar – Local Sightseeing
Arrival at Srinagar Airport and transfer towards hotel. Check in at hotel & refreshment, Dinner overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 02: Srinagar Local
After breakfast & visit famous Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visiting Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jehangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or ( Mehr -un- Nissa ) and later on pay a visit the famous White mosque of Srinagar city ( Hazratbal shrine). Evening enjoy the Shikara Ride(at an extra cost) on the famous Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city, which is often compared to Venice. You will get a lovely view of some interesting places around the lake. Overnight stay in deluxe houseboat in Srinagar.
Day 03: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar
After breakfast drive to Gulmarg. (8700 ft i.e. 2652 mts ), Discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired with its grassy slopes covered with wild flowers. In winter Gulmarg looks more beautiful due to heavy snow fall. And turns into India’s premier Ski resort in winter. The Gondola Cable Car (optional) offers rides to the upland meadows of Kongdori and beyond to the top of Apharwat range to a height of 14000 ft for viewing the Himalayan Peaks in summer and for downhill skiing in winter. One can have Gondola ride (cable car directly payable) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg . Return back to Srinagar. Overnight in hotel in Srinagar.
Day 04: Srinagar – Sonmarg – Kargil
This morning, start for Kargil which is about 205 kilometers from Srinagar. En-route, stop at the valley of meadows Sonamarg for lunch and then crossover the Zojila pass which is located 3900 meters above the sea level. After driving for some time, reach the Drass Village which is said to be the 2nd coldest place on earth after Siberia in Russia. By the evening, you will reach Kargil town; upon reaching there, check-in at hotel/deluxe camp. Overnight stay in Kargil.
Day 05: Kargil – Leh
Post breakfast embarks the journey to Leh which is 230 kilometers from Kargil town. En-route visit the ancient rock-cut statue of Maitreya Buddha at Mulbekh village. Later stop for a photo at lunar-like landscapes near Lamayuru Monastery. On the way, enjoy a mouth tempting lunch and photo stop at the Sangam of Indus and Zanskar rivers. By the evening, arrive Leh and check-in at the hotel in Leh. The rest of the time is at your leisure. You can explore the market of Leh or rest in your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Day 06: Full Day Monasteries Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. This day we take you for full day excursion of Thiksey Monastery. It is better to visit early morning to see sunrise and praying ceremony. Also visit Hemis Monastery which is one of the biggest in this region. While returning to Leh visit Shey Palace. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner & overnight.
Day 07: Leh To Nubra Valley
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Arrive at camp by afternoon. Rest of the day one is free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village.Dinner & overnight at camp.
Day 08: Nubra- Pangong
Leave early morning to Pangong Lake via Shayok . Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 144 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the “INDO CHINA BORDER”. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. .Dinner & overnight at Camp.
Day 09: Pangong Lake- Leh
After breakfast drive back to Leh via changla pass overnight at Hotel.
Day 10: Leh Local
After Breakfast drive to visit Hall of fame, Pather Saheb, Magnetic Hill , confluence of Indus and Zanskar river. and later to the market. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Depart Leh
In the morning transfer to the airport to board the flight for your onward destination.
